Flipper Zero Hacking 101

Learn how to:

Load stock firmware with qFlipper.
Upgrade your Flipper to "unleashed" firmware.
Add all the database files to expand every function of the flipper.

Only load the stock firmware 1 time after receiving your Flipper.
After the 1 stock firmware load you never need to load stock again.

To exit game mode: UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT (WHILE INSIDE OF THE CLOCK APP)

Why? Because Dallas Keys are not so prevalent in most parts of the U.S.
Everytime I pull my Flipper from my pocket it gets snagged by the Pogo pins on the bottom.
You must be using the silicone cover for this part to work.

STEP 1

Download and install qFlipper. Update to the current factory firmware using qFlipper.
This only needs to be done to a brand new Flipper device 1 time. After that you can just flash hacked firmware over and over

STEP 2

Download the Latest RogueMaster Firmware Bundle zip

Unzip the firmware and copy everything to the "update" folder on the root of your SD card.
You can copy via qFlipper or place your SD card in your PC and copy that way.

STEP 3

From Flipper desktop (main screen) Press DOWN
then LEFT for "browser"
scroll DOWN and choose "update" folder.
Scroll and run the "update" from that dir.

After you have installed the firmware you are able to go back into the update folder and choose "firmware A" or "firmware B"
The differences between the 2 is changing all the time.
Most people starting out will want "A".
If you can not find something you are loooking for you can just go back to the update folder and install "B" directly from the flipper. no need to load it. Its already there.

ProTip: You can keep new, current and even old firmwares on your Flipper and switch between them if need be.
Just create folders under "update" to store it all

STEP 4

Now the fun stuff begins.
Now you can upload files directly to your Flipper using the qFlipper software.
I highly recommend removing the SD card and use your PC to drag and drop to the SD card.
This first dump will be rather large. qFlipper is better for uploading a file here or there after the main DB dump.
Browse or download any files you like. If you want everything then download the entire archive

STEP 5

Load the SD card into your PC. It should look similar to this:

Simply drag and drop from the archive to the SD card.
NFC file to the NFC folder on your SD card. ETC

IMPORTANT!!!: You must copy and edit the files found:

Place these file in the SD/subghz/assets
What you see might be different from the screen shot

MISC NOTES:
If you do not have any of the folders listed below create them!

Copy THESE files to the SD/subghz/assets (as stated in step 5)
"setting_user" and "extend_range.txt"file must be edited after every firmware install to unlock all the freqs that Flipper is capable of

Copy THIS file to the SD/ir/assests (Universal TV remote)
Copy THESE files to the SD/nfc/assets
Copy THESE files to SD/apps (create folder if you do not have it)
Apps will be accessed via the "FAP Loader"
